About applying screen protectors to Ipod nano 7th gen

So here are some screen protectors i want to buy for the apple ipod nano 7th gen

My question is, is it possible for the solution which is sprayed to go inside the tiny spaces where the buttons are? i don't want to spray my Ipod Nano while applying the screen protectors, and have it damaged because the solution went through the buttons.
