I got myself a Logitech wireless mouse for a bit of CAD work and gaming, and I had the side tilts on the mouse wheel assigned as volume control rather than side scrolling. Does anyone actually use the side scrolling feature? I find it's not satisfying not being able to move my finger over a distance to scroll. It seems harder to control.

Pet peeve: the tilting action is always too loose, so I tend to accidentally activate the volume control because my finger was pushing on an angle.

I have never used it, but I could see using it at work since I do a lot of work in excel reports. Then again I am so used to arrow keys and the tab key it would take a while to get used to it.
