[QUOTE=PeterBrown]Is it safe for me to assume then that you love the Yankees, along with the rest of the USA?
    [QUOTE]

I thought about that as I was posting. I absolutely HATE the Yankees. My girlfriend loves them but I am a Red Sox fan. That's almost like an Irish Protestant and Irish hooking up. And almost as explosive last playoffs.

I am an absolute Yankee fanatic! That was so amazing last year as the clock was running down, our striker had the ball, the Sox goalkeeper looked scared, the striker weaved around the last two defenders and then........GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!

    I was going nuts!!!!!!

I come back from vacation and all h**l breaks loose. Since when this thread has become so political? but it was good reading nevertheless

And so the witch works in her garden wearing Victoria's Secret clothing? And ACD thinks that Yankees play soccer? And Dee decided to make this thread political? And even clu-lue posted a token post for good ol' time sake? And Bob C joined in on the fun? And even that girl (I forget her name) pitched in? And PeterBrown posted too, I can't believe it! And jpahl continues his ananova's entertainment. Cool.
Long live the king of threads!!!!

I'm so glad to see that Piffy has struck a chord, for my part I'm intending to use the american phrase 'sitting around like a bump on a log', although I think it lacks some of the magic of Piffy on a rock bun.

It was almost as exciting as when Manchester U got up 3 game to nothing before Stockport came back and won the next 4 games to finally beat them!! Boy, I never thought I'd see Manchester U choke like that to Stockport!
