You mean "many fine and fun people," unlike "Muziek, ACD, Mike, Tulip, PB, [and] Alli"

    Hi everyone! Hey there Chick
After catching up with the latest pages on this thread, which took about 20 minutes, I realize that most of you are now posting on MTDN. And it has a lot to do with your dismay over the quality of (political) posts on TC. I agree that there are elements of militarism and “ultra” patriotic posts out there. Or even redneck, biased and anti-gay bashing. But instead of running away to a different forum, stay here and fight those un-American postings. Just my 2 cents. I did, however, check on MTDN and there are lots of great threads there, so I’ll sign up there as well.

I was wondering about the ipod - maybe in future just get huge SD card and let the treo rock the world. Any views on that?
What I really love about my iPod is that I have all the music I like with me, and I can listen to whatever I want whenever I want. With a 1 GB SD card, you still have to select what to put onto that card. Of course one day we may have larger SD cards, then the "problem" will be less of an issue.

I guess we will see the first mobile/smart phone with a hard disk included before long.

Can you tell us about the vibrate mode of the new Treo? Does it catch your attention more strongly than before?

I have heard it is a problem for women because quite often, they cannot feel the vibration well enough, and they can't come, to pick up the phone, because the Treo is in the handbag, and not in a pocket of the jacket, where men carry it.

You know, there are indeed people who can twist EVERYTHING into the most dubious context, no matter HOW innocently it started off...

I don't mean ACD of course, I just wanted to mention it.

Hi kids! Miss me? I can't believe how short Chick's retirement was. Anyway Chick, so how many blessings does Mr Chicken have? And why have you married one of my sister's schoolteachers? (Obscure reference to anyone outside my family maybe, she also had Mrs Badger, Mr Bull, Mr Fox & Mr Blood.) Tell me Chick, do you still need an iBook now you have the improved 650 screen?

I found this commercial highly intriguing... I don't know who it reminded me of, but wouldn't we (males) buy this coffee machine if it would indeed have that power?

SOLD! When can I get it? And, can I have the female star of this tidbit as well?

The coffee machine is just a copy of the "Nespresso" system (www.nespresso.com) you get in the US as well - probably the best coffee you can make at home.

About the female star... don't know her, sorry.

There's another add for the same machine, but I don't really get the message. It seems to be "one boyfried for coffee, one boyfriend for tea"... outrageous!! I prefer the first commercial, where you can buy precious moments of peace and silence with a cup of tea or coffee.

That's strange, why? Well, she is pretty, but her hair is dark, she speaks Italian, and doesn't drink coffee like you... so what could it be??? Guess it must be some sort of overall prettyness
