Not sure if any of you saw this in the news, but there is a small town in Iowa (across the Mississippi river from my hometown) that has set up a live webcam (with night vision) a couple feet from an eagle's nest at the top of a tree.

Two (or three) of the eagle eggs just hatched with one more about to happen. The cam gives you a bird's eye view (pun intended) of a wild eagle nesting and raising young. It's really an amazing thing.

    Take a look and enjoy

Thank you for posting about the eagle cam.

In a related story, a 26 year old Ospry named Lady was in the news yesterday.

Wow.. was just watching to see what it looked like on a windy day, and the male eagle just flew in and dropped off a dead animal and took off

And if you like your birds a little smaller, or WAY smaller.... check out the Hummingbird Cam at Ustream. Better hurry though, these two chicks are about to leave the nest.

Wow, doesn't he know that meat is murder? He should have dropped off a few berries or maybe some nice sprouts.

Thanks for that. I'm a huge fan of raptors. It's a beautiful bird.

What's the keyboard short cut to make it zoom out just a bit?
