It appears Verizon is not interested in buying Sprint so I wonder if it would make any business sense if Google were to buy Sprint.

A few years ago I recall Google was making a bid to buy up a piece of the broadband spectrum but was unsuccessful. Assuming they are still interested in whatever their grand plans are/were I wonder if Sprint would somehow work into their grand scheme of things?

Problem I see is that revenue from Android devices comes from Google searches. If Google became a direct competitor to Verizon and AT&T, what would stop the big two from simply changing the default search on their devices to Bing? If they didn't, wouldn't they basically be funding their own competition?
