Those aren't reserved "spots". They're jelly donut stain "spots".

If you drink good beer instead of swill headaches are less of a problem. You should try some of the craft beers in a good shop - there should be plenty in WA - probably the same place you buy your whine (oops, freudian spelling mistake - wine).

It actually has nothing to do with beer quality, it causes fluctuations in my blood pressure.

Only had one, in Canada, that didn't, Kilkenny.

Other sources of alcohol, such as wine and hard liquor don't do that to me.

Very interesting. I wonder if we have any alcohol consumption experts here who know the reason why. You should try a homebrew (or a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale) that is bottle conditioned (carbonated with yeast and a little priming sugar). It's a great tasting beer (but maybe a bit heavy if you aren't used to such things). Just decant it into a nice glass (pouring in a single motion and leaving the last 1/2"-3/4" in the bottom of the bottle).

PS: After a while, the yeast starts tasting good too. It won't harm you if you drink any. The beer will just look a little cloudy in the glass.

Tried it, tried many of them.

I don't do cheap swill, either, btw.

My BP can be very sensitive, as it turns out.

It's nice to know that you have some sensitive qualities too!

PS: Before someone calls me a beer snob, I like Budweiser too - it's just not my preferred style of beer. I like beer that tastes good at cellar temperature. You get the most flavor that way. My favorite: beer and salmon. (They each seem to "reset" by taste buds so each bite/sip is as good as the first one!)

Wow, quite presumptive of you to assume I didn't. No one really knows what anyone else is like just from their posts on a forum.
