did you try Absolute Fitness? It's what I use and it tracks sodium as well as other nutritional info.

I looked at that one and the reviews, many people are saying it's not good to track regular foods, it's mostly for prepackaged stuff and fast foods, which are mostly off my edibles category.

it lets you create your own items so you can track whatever you want. That's what I like about it.

    hello my fans...

    NOT "HP webOS"!!!
  5. #15365
But that kind of defeats the purpose then of what I want and need. I want something that pulls in the info for me, with just a search. If I wanted to put it all inn myself, I'd just create my own database.

I understand what you are saying, and that's what I thought at first. What I found was that I could create a few items that covered what I couldn't find already in there. Basically I could just enter in the nutritional details for things I eat once and then they are part of the database. That works for simple items like a handfull of peanuts, and for complex items like a club sandwhich. It took maybe an hour total to put in what I couldn't find and create a favorites list to make them easy to grab - apparently I don't have a huge variety in what I eat.

It tracks consumption by individual nutrients, including sodium. Calories eaten, calories burned by excercise, blood pressure, etc. It was a hot-apps winner and consistently at the top of the download list.

I would be happy to help you set it up. I'm not affiliated with the dev, but I bought pretty much every diet tracking app in the catalog a few months ago, and this is the only one I kept. PM me if you want to ask questions.
