    Hi Guys,

Just made a website for a client and am now thinking of making a mobile version. Can anyone point me in the direction of the script used to identify mobile clients and give me any tips on optimization.

I also have a phpBB3 board but I can worry about that bit later.

    Cheers in advance,

    Stu.

    User Agent Wiki

Best to use a server side identifier and deliver accordingly.

You just check the User Agent and direct to a folder containing the version of your site modified for that device.

Or if you have your content properly separated from display, specify the proper stylesheet.

Sorry nothing that sophisticated. Very simple site, was just gonna make another version with better optimised buttons and resolution.
