    Brittany Murphy? No contest!!!!!!

Ricardo Monteban was a great actor with more "substance to it" than most.
    Ricardo Montalban

Also Farrah had a fairly good resume that went from 1969-2004
    Farrah Fawcett

Hmmm lets see... Brittany Murphy (not trying to step on her grave but...)
    Brittany Murphy

Just because some of Hollywood doesnt walk in lockstep with other "A" listers doesn't make their careers have "less substance".

Using your logic Paris Hilton probably has more substance huh?

Upon BARYE's rightful and inevitable restoration to planetary emperorship, my friend and protégé, the noted film buff Kim Jong-il, will be appointed President of The Academy.

Mr. Eastwood you have my personal assurance that Mr. il will provide a retrospective appreciation of Farrah and Ricardo, one that will properly address the Film Academy's historic and ignominious slight.

(BTW -- another obit omission from last year worthy of note was Henry Gibson -- one of the primary leads in Robert Altman's "Nashville", a much appreciated and well respected film.)

It could be a generational thing. When it was announced that Brittany Murphy died, the 1st thing that I thought of was "Who in the hell is Brittany Murphy and why should I care that she's dead?". After reading the imdb entry, I'm sure Mike Judge & co will adapt.

not everyone knows this, but Ricardo Monteban and William Shattner did a sequel to The Wrath of Khan --

it was called Alien Vs. Predator --- the final scenery chew-off ...

I dunno. I thought The End was pretty damn hysterical.
