Just one? That's tough. Can we broaden it out a bit to maybe one in our top 5 perhaps?

My top 5 are (in no particular order):
    Pink Floyd
    Led Zeppelin
    Moody Blues
    Beatles
Rush (Metallica being a close second)

and I'd kill myself deciding which was my favorite album for each.

This thread is a great idea.
Can't we all just get along?????
    1) The Beatles, far & away the best band of all time, without them, where would music be?
    2) The Stones, they're the one who smell like sulfur
    3) The Clash
    4) The Cult
    5) The Beastle Boys 'cause listening to Paul's Boutique makes me feel like my head has been turned inside out, even sober as a judge...
Favorite record- Electric, by the Cult

"Electric" is an awesome record. It's funny, because I haven't listened to it for a few years. From Wild Flower to Memphis Hipshake, it just rocks. The only downer on the album (IMO) is the cover of Born To Be Wild.

Nah. I dig all the groups on your list, and came up with the whole Soundgarden/Pearl Jam/Stone Temple Pilots genre of music.

I have the movie "Singles" on VHS.

Rock & Roll don't know generations, it just know how to groove!!!!

To JD: You're correct about Born to be Wild, I don't like that tune at all, and discount it completely.
