Finally, someone calls him on his performance (or lack thereof), even in jest!

And what's the deal with him playing the high paid lobbyist for Chicago? I'm beginning to wonder if this guy has a clue about what his job is about.

Edit - Oh lookie look! They've already taken the video down because of "copyright infringement". Gee, I wonder who from the WH pulled that string?

Yeah I felt the same way when main stream media ,David Letterman etc was attacking Sahara Palin & family for no reason...heck they still are.
The good news for Obama , its only snl skit....for now.
Whats even funnier is that cnn ,msnbc are doing fact check on skit excusing away any fact in it. lol.

Not anyone likely. SNL is _extremely_ vigilant about Youtube. They have the video on their site.

They were talking about an SNL skit. I would say that's comparable to Letterman. I think Letterman did cross the line though, talking about a 14 year-old having sex. Although I also think Palin put her kids out there more than she should have.

Golly gee, the Pres sucks!!! He couldn't end 2 wars, restore a failed economy, and dismantle an illegal prison, all started by the previous administration. Yes, lets bash our elected president for not being able to fix the catastrophic mistakes of the conservatives, in less than 8 months. Lets not forget that every time he tries to fix something, those very conservatives are there to block any progress that he may have.

Here is the current conservative game plan:

    1; OBAMA, FIX OUR MISTAKES
    2; BLOCK FIXING OF MISTAKES
3; LAUGH AND CALL THE PRESIDENT A FAILURE
    4; REPEAT

Here is what you don't get. Obama was voted in by a majority. That means most of America wanted him to get in there and do this job. We see who is keeping him from doing his job. A shrinking party that is becoming nothing more than obstructionists and extremists, that are becoming more and more out of touch with how the majority of this nation feels. They are losing trust from the very people they need, the independents. So, the "party of no" will be hearing just that when it come to re-election time...

    nah
Snl did the same with Bush , Clinton etc.
I agree on main stream media though ,they fail to do their job by painting rosy pictures of his current dealings Obama can do no wrong giving slasher movie effect.

Two things. A majority win does not mean that the opposing minority is now forced to silence their opposition. This country has always encouraged that voice.
Second, I think you maybe reaching when you say "this job". You can't prove that everyone who voted for him is happy with his performance so you shouldn't really even try to imply that's the case.

My god... put them out there? The media was crawling all over them for months after she was announced as the VP choice. She'd have had to lock them up to keep them out of the media.... and that would be uncool to them.

Yeah laugh while you still can. While job loss is only at 9.8 %, while Iran and North Korea have not yet produced those nukes, while we still have some soldiers left in Afghanistan, while the world still uses the dollar for oil purchase, while oil and energy price is still relatively cheap, while you can still choose the healthcare treatment you want, while government control is still with a few banks and few automakers.

OK OK, I went off a little there. It was just a skit BUT, Letterman was just a monologue about Bristol Palin...

Ok, first.... how exactly is he being blocked? The dem's control both the Senate and House.

Second, it was *his* platform.... remember it? The one about "Change"? "Yes we can"? Remember all that?

The best you can do to try and cover his failures is point to Bush and the completely whipped and defanged Republican party?

Face it. He's a failure. And all on his lonesome. It's his presidency, nobody elses.

Wouldn't take much for, oh say, some catastrophic event occurs and whoopsie, Obama will rush in to take control of everything. I mean, he'll have to, right? For everyone's good and well being?

That point can't be made enough Micael, and that liberals just can't seem to stomach, and that is that it isn't Republicans blocking "his" healthcare plan, but rather democrats. Apparently some folks seem to understand majority when they want to brag how Obama got "the majority of the vote" and then conveniently forget about when discussing that Congress is controlled by the democrats. Of course, we all know it is for political reasons because the dems know that when their healthcare reform fails, if they have no Republican votes, they will quickly get voted out as the dems won't be able to point fingers at anyone but the man in the mirror.

"It's just sad Larry" (Ross Perot to Larry King) that democrats have to blame either Bush or the Republicans whenever something doesn't go their way, even when it is their own fault. It will be interesting to see at what year the liberals will stop blaming Bush for everything, LOL. My guess will be never.

What has the right brought to the table in regards to health care reform other than "don't mess with it" and "OMG DEATH PANELS!!!"

You're right. He was voted in office with the intent of giving us a single payer system and he should have just jammed it through...

What failures? Things still being worked out in the house and senate are not failures...

Again, what failures? Other than the Olymipcs, name one...

Change, especially of the political type, takes time. The situation in Iraq didn't turn into a cluster $%^@ overnight and it will take time for Obama to make his changes.
