Woman calls 911 3 times over McNuggets - Criminal weirdness- msnbc.com

"This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn’t have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don’t want one," Goodman told police, according to The Stuart News. "This is an emergency."

Un....frickin.....believable. Clear lack of sufficient brain matter - just look in her eyes.

In some cities, such as Honolulu, the only published way to get hold of the police department is 9-1-1. Not withstanding, McNuggets?

On the service it looks trivial, but think about it, what are you suppose to do when someone commits a theft?....in your face no less. Walk away and let some fry cook punk you ought of your money? Wouldn't you be pissed?
If she had taken matters into her own hands, the police would have been called on her.
The thing to do I guess would be to call up the regional manager or someone higher up the chain. But not everyone knows how to complain. Me? I'm a head hunter, I go straight to the top.

Hmmm... she was refused a refund... I would have been pissed as well, but 911?

Really, this poison kills you no matter if in a nugget (what part of the chicken is that) or in a burger....

Hate to say it, but she acts and looks damn crazy....

The greater idiocy is refusing a refund.

Isnt there a lower priority you can call the cops on?
Most countries have a 911 number and a low priority number..

She was right in wanting to call the cops if she was refused a refund, but 911 was not the best way to do that..

    Surely.

Replace 'countries' with 'counties/parishes' or 'municipalities' and it applies to most places in the US that I'm aware of.

Depending on the locality, people are so far removed from the process, they only know of 911. That being said, there was a complete lack of perspective here. Calling a shift manager or store manager first would have seemed more appropriate. I don't do fast food much any more, but I suppose I'll have to keep the 911 card handy if I ever go through a drive through and they mess up my order.

She didnt refuse a refund, she refused another product (the mcdouble or whatever) She wanted and paid for chicken nuggets. When told they were out of nuggets, the clerk stated she cannot give her a cash refund but would give her the mcdouble. Darn straight i want MY MONEY back. If they wouldnt give it back, and I had no other options, i too would call the police.

I was referring to the vendor refusing to refund.

Interestingly in the UK the number 101 was to be the non-emergency number to call the emergency services, but it has had government funding withdrawn - however there are listed numbers for all police stations, etc.

I would not have called anyone. I did get my money back for a substitution that I did not want, Also, I did get my money back on orders taking way to long because the employees are playing grab a$$ instead of working.
