It is. Which is why I found your low-brow politics of only using his first and middle names so typical.

Awfully defensive there Shortstuff - and to this, this is the LEAST of his liabilities.
Nothing to be defensive about, muppet. See above. Why, specifically, is his middle name a liability? Why wouldn't Billy-Joe-Bob vote for him?

you dare mock the great BARYE !!???

As I have stated time after time, that was a long long time ago -- no one warned me nor could it have been predicted, that it got cold in Russia in winter. What -- am I also expected to be a weatherman ??!!

My critics have over the years greatly exaggerated and distorted the record of what happened in any case.

That "Mission Accomplished !!" banner raised over the Kremlin ?? That was the product of overly enthusiastic soldiers spontaneously demonstrating their love for BARYE. I had nothing whatsoever to do with it !!

500,000 deaths ??? Most of those were hired contractors whose contracts as a budget measure I simply chose not to renew. Who knows where they went.

Those "events" at Abu Ghraib Basilica -- just some unauthorized midnight fun by bored prison staff. Believe me -- if I wanted torture done I'd do it myself.

    Beginning with you.

But...but...of the 500,000 dearly departed - were not a product of Russians destroying because of Bolshevik v. Menshevik violence and starvation - in the name of the motherland!!

Why raise a flag that says Mission Accomplished when we grace the proletariat with images like this!

There you have it. Referring to a candidate *by name* is now "low brow"....LOL!

Who said anything about his middle name being a liability?

The vastly increased democratic and dwindling republican turnout in New Hampshire in 2008 compared to 2004 certainly tells us something significant about the mood of the country. But what's really interesting is to listen to Bill Crystal, Bob Bennet, Fred Barnes, Brit Hume and the rest of the far right crowd on Fox news wax poetically tonight about Obama's prospects. It makes me think that the GOP's only and perhaps futile hope is that by cheerleading for Obama they can help get a 2 year senator as an opponent against which they can rail against lack of experience, one who they hope is too nice a guy to get down and dirty in a general election. One where a desparate GOP will surely pull out all the stops with regard to negative campaigning. In that regard, I agree completely with Barye on this and am glad Hillary's victory has kept her a major factor in the race. If Obama does not make it, his fans, including me, can take solace in the fact that he is young and will gain experience so that he will be in an excellent position to run in future elections.

Did anyone else notice just how much edwards, obama, and clinton sound just the same?

I think they all have the same speech writers.

But yea, obama went much too long... it sounded like the same speech in Iowa. lol.... and he needs to cut it down and not to sound too "preachy."

    All good... NH was close...

Oh, snap, hillary just mentioned her .com.... sh** she got my vote.... lol

    Quite the ridiculous statement.

    2004 NH Republican turnout: 67,833
    2008 NH Republican turnout: 167,562

Furthermore, History 101 here would have told you that Bush ran unopposed in 2004.

The smarter thing to do would have been to compare 2000 with 2008.

I think this tells us something significant about the mood of the country.
Perhaps, but then again McCain won NH in 2000 and the rest, as they say, is history.

I believe the GOP's only and perhaps futile hope is to be Obama fanboys and hope they can have a 2 year senator like Obama as an opponent against which they can rail against his lack of experience and being too nice a guy to get down and dirty in a general election where a desparate GOP will surely pull out all the stops with regard to negative campaigning.
Yes, because we all know that only Republicans engage in negative campaigning.

In that regard, I agree completely with Bayre on this and am glad Hillary's victory has kept her a major factor in the race.

Historically, when the GOP pulls out all the stops, there are usually some Billy-Bobs from the School of the Americas and a funeral involved.

yea, that was a political move that paid off... the day before someone had mentioned people thought she was hard... she said that maybe she needed to soften up... after explaining she wanted to show she was a fighter.

All this stuff is an act... like watching the "300."

You must forgive the short one folks. He has been rather "frustrated" by the lashing he has been taking lately.

    What are you talking about?

Try to keep it together and stop assuming you know what people are saying... obviously you have limited knowledge of an outer world in which you speak and pick a name and don't fully understand what it represents on some places.

Gee... you need to lighten up. Maybe gojeda is right about you.... But then you two can keep on with your petty fights.... You both sound stupid.

Indeed, an act - except in Hillary's case the acting sucked-***.

That would assume that a lashing had been delivered. Wrong again, sock-puppet. Not even close. [That goes for all 5-fingers, by the way]
