Yup. It is interesting, and I am unsure why.

Great! That makes two of us. I was afraid they might cancel the series....

    Seriously, what character acting!

If only there was a plot.

At my house, we call it "Waiting for Godot: the Series".

I watch it every week, but I ask myself "Why?" after each episode. I suspect it's just the force of a habit formed by watching the Sopranos at that time each week. From the reviews I've read, it probably won't be picked up for another season. I mean, geez, if they can cancel Deadwood, how can they justify keeping this drone alive?

I never like it anyway. I'm not sure I know what HBO is doing. I loved Deadwood and Carnivale and both got the ax without finishing the story.

Amen TomUps...Deadwood and Carnivale were brilliant. At least there are rumors of a Deadwood movie.

...and at least The Wire is still going.

Carnivale was a very unique HBO like show. I just got into the Wire last year. But, John from Cinncy seems weak.

It could have been on Max or Showtime...

I loved Carnivale. Best show on TV at the time. I also loved Rome, but atleast that had a proper ending.

I think I read somewhere that the intro was one of the most expensive ever. I too thought about canceling hbo when carnivale was taken off the air. However, I was looking foward to watching Rome.

Big Love is pretty good, and i just re-watched all the carnivale episodes on hbo on-demand

I just read that HBO has signed a deal with my favorite author, George R. Martin to do a series based on his popular fantasy books. Now I definately can not cancel hbo.

Thats great news! But I hope he prioritizes his time to finish writing Dances with Dragons first!

He is not writing them. Each season will represent 1 book. So, the first season will be based off of "A Game of Thrones". Here is the link to the story. Its actually from January, but the authors website mentions it also......
