12 out of 15 (admittedly, several were educated guesses)

11 of 15, not too good...

    13.

It was easy...just pick the most biased and incorrect possible answer to an obviously biased question. (Plus I work Shia/Sunni issues for a living.)

    Questions for Mother Jones:

    1. What will the cost in lives be to the US be if Iraq falls under the sway of Iran?

    2. What size will Rosie ODonnell's buraq be?

Interesting question. Do you think the current US administration gave it any consideration before toppling the last regime in Iraq, thereby removing the main obstacle to Iran's expansion?

    A speculative-question makes a bad quiz-q.
And regarding your comment about "most biased and incorrect possible answer," I haven’t seen your answers to determine that…

Missed three and the prospect of Iraq under Iran - a real possibility under the auspices of our Democrat law makers.

Let's say for argument's sake the answer to your question is NO. In light of this reality then would the Dem's forcing a hard withdrawal day in the coming months help Iran towards that goal or help prevent it?

The United States of America helped Iraq get weaker and Iran stronger. And our residing president is much to be blamed for it.

Moot point. If everything settled down tomorrow and Sunni/****e stopped killing each other and worked within the recent 'democracy', the majority population is and would be Iranian influenced.

It is not a moot point. If we stay ...or at least not announce a firm withdrawal date....there are consequences (whether good or bad) if we announce a hard withdrawal date to the enemy within months there are consequences (whether good or bad). My question still stands.

Within the context of expanding Iran's influence it is completely moot. That has already been accomplished.

Again....no matter what has happened in the past....just take where we are right now. The question is still not addressed of would the Dem's forcing a hard withdrawal day in the coming months help Iran towards that goal or help prevent it?

Does it make a difference if our troops leave today or in 5 years? Iran can invade Iraq regardless if Iraq is a functioning democracy (isn't that's why we are still there: Waiting for it to become a democracy?).
If we'll keep on adding new variables (Iran today -- Syria tomorrow, etc.) to the Iraq war, we will never leave nor end that war.

Why are you trying to belabor this point? Let's put it another way. The only way to marganilize this increased influence by Iran on the deposed Bathist Iraq is for US Troops to stay there FOREVER.

I got many wrong but as you know, you go into a test with the knowledge you have. Its not the knowledge you might want or wish to have at a later time.
