    Anyone using it?

    They just called me. It's now available in my area. They laid all the cable two months ago.

    I can basically move from my DSL service to Fios for $10 more a month.

    I'll get 10 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload.

    Is it really that much faster?

    They said they guarantee a direct connection so there is zero latency.

    I've had fios for over a year and its been rock solid on uptime and reliability. much better than dsl or cable for me.

    I have both fios internet and now fios TV. So far I am very happy with both. No more cablevision for me.
