This week's Fresh Air has been wonderful.

If you care, and have the time, these interviews are well worth the investment (of time).

This one is the best - with lots of background on the Shia vs. Sunni conflict and how that is playing out in Iraq, Lebanon etc.

Crap, last time he did that, I watched the Cheney Frontline episode, and I was steaming for a week.

Aww. C'mon. I thought everyone scanned NPR and PBS sites everyday.

To the right-wingers reading... These interviews are NOT political in nature. The one by Vali Nasr, Professor in the Department of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School, is especially educational.

If you find factual errors in these, I'd like to know.

The sad fact is that it takes more than sound bites to understand these extremey complex issues. Everyone has strong opinions but very few take the time to understand the issues.

Only for liberal talking points. Didn't we stop all government funding of propaganda mechanisms such as these?
The Law of Logical Argument: Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.

Do yourself and me a favor: Listen to the interviews and list the factual errors and the "liberal talking points" you find.

That left wing liberal college boy documentary I saw last month that claimed the earth was round was TOTALLY slanted.
