I'm referring to the fact that a conservative brought up the censorship word. I saw it as being far from relevant.

Again, I am not posting this to shout baby killers.

I'm posting it to point out the morale is going in the dumper thanks to brilliant leadership (<--- sarcasm).
This video equates to morale in the dumps? Do you have a link to the article where the author talks about the video? If he is an active duty marine, he will probably find himself at a new address very soon that provides restricted liberties and then he will be known as Mr. instead of corporal.

Fair enough, but do you see the relationship. If you grow up listening to artist that make millons of dollars with this type of lyrics, it would probably be a fair assumption that it is ok for you to use the same style lyrics. I am not condoning this from anyone, much less a member of the armed forces.

Here's the lyrics for the people who cant bring themselves to watch the video.

Hajji Girl By the American Marines

I was out at the sands of Iraq
    and we were under attack
and I , well I didn't know where to go to.

then the first thing that I could see
    was everyones favorite burger king
so I threw open the door and I hit the floor

    then suddenly to my surprise
I looked up and saw her eyes
and I knew it was love at first sight
    and she said

    Durka Durka mohammed jihad
    chirpa chirpa mo bakala
hajji girl i cant understand what you are saying
    and she said

    Durka Durka mohammed jihad
    chirpa chirpa mo bakala
hajji girl i love you any way

and she said she wanted me to see
she wanted me to go with her family
but I, well I could not figure out how to say no
cause I dont speak Arabic so

she took down a road a trip
and she pulled up to a shack???
and as she opened the door I hit the floor
because her brother and father shouted

    Durka Durka mohammed jihad
    chirpa chirpa mo bakala

they pulled out their AK so i could see

    And they said
    Durka Durka mohammed jihad
    chirpa chirpa mo bakala
so i grabbed her little sister and put her in front of me

as the bullets began to fly
blood sprayed from between her eyes
    and then I laughed maniacally

then i hid behind the TV
and I locked a load in my M16
and I put those little f*ckers to eternity

    and I said
    Durka Durka mohammed jihad
    chirpa chirpa mo bakala

you should have known they were f*cking with the marines

I think most studies have shown that the videos have an impact when there isn't a strong parental influence. While I find no value in the majority of videos that contain violence, I will say that if the parent(s) are taking charge, it's generally not an issue. So I see more of a relationship between parental influence and this action rather than videos and this action. The world is full of bad and unhealthy things, we can't use them as excuses.

American soldiers have courage and are signing up to return to Iraq in record numbers. I assume you mean the "other" forces, perhaps your guys?

A delusion about why they are there leading to misplaced patriotism, plus a bonus of 50% of their yearly salary tax free I am sure has nothing to do with it.
