    Feed me Seymour, feed me!

I think we are not far from medical records being up for grabs.

As much as I deplore the loss of privacy this portends, I find much more offensive the idea that agents of the Executive Branch feel empowered to order these companies to act in a certain way. It's one thing for the elected representives of the People to pass a law that requires this information to be retained, it's quite another for the current regime to act as if its desires are the only "law" worth considering.

Bill, what do you say if we get attacked again? Do you say the government has not done enough? Cripple the government and you cripple defense. The FBI states the must retain the data for two years, what does that have to do with privacy? Not a thing. It's a ***** point. Ben

And your democratic buddies aren't just as bad? What about the free boxing tickets in Nevada by your democratic wannabe leader? And conflict of interest? The others paid for their tickets and excluded themselves..... Get a life. Ben

I'd say, is anyone interested in the cause of the attack? We keep treating symptoms.

    Poke a beehive
    Get stung
    Put on a glove

    Poke a beehive
    Get stung
    Put on a hat

    Poke a beehive
Get stung...... Hey, maybe we should stop poking?

I definetely don't have answers here, because I think the cause is being masked and spun. Remember how right after 9/11, people said, go back to doing what you normally do, if we change our ways, then the terrorists have won! No one says that anylonger. People used to think that the way we are now (mistrust, spying, paranoia), is just what the terrorists wanted. Now, it's acceptable. Nearly every political system we loathe has risen out of fear. Today it's, do as your asked or else. Don't ask questions, just comply. We don't have time for explanations.
