Bush Approval Rating at Record Low of 33 Percent, Fox News Says
April 20 (Bloomberg) -- President George W. Bush's approval rating fell to 33 percent, a record low, dragged down partly because the president is losing support among rank-and-file Republicans, Fox News said.

Public support for the president is down from 36 percent two weeks ago and 47 percent at this time a year ago, the television network reported. The poll gave a worse rating to the Republican-led Congress: 25 percent approved of the way lawmakers are doing their job, down from 40 percent approval at this time a year ago. One-third of the Senate and all members of the House of Representatives are up for re-election in November.....

I would have thought the last 40 percent or so would never have budged. I stand corrected.

You are quoting a Bloomberg story dated April 20th . That certainly isnt "the latest news." You are a purveyor of bad information.

    What Fox said was:

05/04/06 FOX News Poll: Bush Approval Rebounds Slightly, Staff Changes 'Window Dressing'
    Thursday, May 04, 2006
    By Dana Blanton
NEW YORK — President Bush’s job approval rating inches up to 38 percent this week, a slight increase from last month, according to the latest FOX News Poll. A 53 percent majority of Americans disapproves of the president’s job performance. Even fewer Americans approve of the job Democrats and Republicans in Congress are doing, and over half say they are either extremely or very interested in the upcoming midterm election.

You know Blaze, Reading your post history, you really come across to me as a troll.
You post these media fed sensational articles, with no opinion of your own attached, then sit back and wait for someone to pick a debate side.
Then and only then you for the most part you'll jump in.

Now during these debates, it's obvious to me that you are not just some dunce. You make "some" factual and relevent posts. In fact, I would say your intellegence level is fairly high.
But most times you really come across as a jerk, which is why I think you get very little respect from anyone in the forums.
Hell if you'd just rethink your approach just a bit, you could even be as well revered as say Insertion...scratch that...well at least as much as DAThomas.

Wow, what ever happened to courtsey here. No need to attack. The man has an opinion and Claire has one too.

Though politics and religion are two subjects one would best avoid, it is ok here in "Off Topic."

    Well said GM!

It seems that lately it is the sport to gang up on theblaze and use all kinds of mud slinging..
If you dont agree with him fine, fight him with arguments, not with mud.. the latter just shows you lack the first and only makes you look weak and infantile..

This was not and attack. In fact I have the highest respect for his position, and as I stated, his knowlwdge. It's his approach I take issue with.
I am simply stating MY observations. Does that make them right? No. It makes them mine. In fact I'm starting to form another one concerning a disinterested third party.

before planning your Tuxedo rental for the GOP's 2009 inaugural, you may want to do some reading from conservative upstate NY republicans -- folks who HATED Hillary when she first ran, people who pasted "carpet bagger" placards across their lawns.

She is genuinely supported and even loved by these people now. She's been a very good Senator and has become an increasingly better candidate.

What she has going most for her though is the colossal calamity that has been junior’s legacy to this nation and world. He’s lead an administration where greed and ignorance are badges of honor, and a government where being a big money contributor bought you insider deals and billions in corruption. Oh -- and he also purchased an endless avoidable war, alienated us from friends and allies, and pretended that conservation and global warming were liberal fantasies.

Speaking as a person who lives in NY, I can honestly say I have never actually met someone who likes Hillary. Everyone thinks shes an outsider. Ofcourse, most of these same people actually voted for her though. This is because NY is mostly made up of democrats, and would rather have her than any republican.

That might work in NY, but if you think Mid America is going to vote for her, your crazy. I think Biden would make a good showing though.

Calling her "Loved" is just not true.
