Too late. . . . . . I have mind melded with my Treo and am typing this thru brain waves, as I am now in the ICU and for all intents and purposes to the outside world: unconscious.

    There is only one cure. . . . . . .

    Can Perry survive in the ICU for 53 days . . . . . ?

Tune in next week for the next exciting episode of "As the Treo Turns."

LOL (I am not that unconscious.)

Well, my friend, we share TWO things in common: We are both convinced and neither of us will waiver. (And we will share the third in June.)

I WILL HAVE MY STARBUCKS !! (note to dstrauss)

You're starting to worry me, my friend. How will I ever be able to add to your agony by asking for my card this June (we did wager on delivery in June 2006, not June 2007?)?
Remember, the "P" in PDA stands for personal.
If it works for you, it is "P"erfect.

No worrys, IF that happens, you will be recieving your Starbucks card from the executor of my will.

    2006

(I believe the bet was not on date -- but which will be first to Sprint; the P or the W)

You're right - regardless of date, the delivery of the 700w first gets me a card. That's terrrific, even if I have to wait 52 days +/- 365.

Gee, I don't know where to post this one, here or in the "I stopped into my Sprint Store at lunch today and . . . . . . . . . " thread.

    I will put it here.

    I stopped into my Sprint Store today at lunch and . . . . . . . .

I asked if they had gotten any info on the Treo 700 yet, and the clerk said: "Yes, we got the latest "IN/OUT" listing for the next period. (Mind you, Grand Rapids, MI is an affiliate market for Sprint and not a corporate one -- so it appears that these guys get their information a little slower than the corporate stores.)

I asked if there were any specs and he said no -- just the listing -- so he pulled it up on his screen -- and there, with 5 other phones (mostly Samsung), was listed "TREO 700". You got it, no P or W designation -- just Treo 700. As well, all the other phones on the page had April/May as the arrival period, while the Treo 700 was the lone phone on the page with the previously talked about "LATE MAY/APRIL" wording. So these guys have not even heard yet that it has slipped into June. . . . .

So for the most part, this is a post about nothing.

    Cheers, Perry.

Hey Perry, I just left a corporate Sprint store in Overland Park, Kansas. Its a store on the Spint Campus, thats the world Head Quarters. Of course the techs there talk nonstop to all levels of sprint employees. My wife was a software engineer there for 5 years. They call it Sprint City. Its rumored to have its own zip code but Ive never checked that out. Any way they are openly telling anyone and everyone about the 700p!
    Anyone check this out yet?

(And the rest of you -- BEHAVE! Do not flame this poor soul if he answers.)

    Cheers, Perry.

    Oh, I don't know - at least it didn't say 700"P"
