    Hey G!

What is your spin on the appearance of the designation "700P" on another web site?

I can not even confirm a device has even been submitted for application.
They may not need to have an FCC release of the manual...even though the OS is different the hardware should be the same as the 700w so they may not need to re-test or release anything else on the 700x series. Have to go back and review my FCC regs. If the hardware is the same then Palm may have only had to release a temporary confidentiality agreement with the FCC (showing specs similarities, etc...) and gain approval.

The other Treo releases were individual releases...this is the first time a release is being done with two Treos in the same year. Now, if there should be a GSM version...I would expect to see FCC stats and releases.

Yeah...back in those days we had to rely on the antique media to provide us with the count. ABC/CBS/NBC news would lead with "DAY XXX"...

Now we've got PNN (The Perry News Network) to get the day count. Thank God for PNN.

Hmmm...can we get James Earl Jones to do a VO?

I see Perry as more of a Howard Beale type.
