For example I don't. I barely posted for the 3 months my Dad was in a coma before he died after Christmas. You know nothing about my life so think twice before assuming someone's motives.

Looks like a clip from a dashing actor from the old black and white days.

You're so right. We have so many great pictures. Back to the 1890's.

Sorry to hear about your father, Dutch.

Its great that you have a lot of pictures. Avoidance of cameras is a family trait so we don't have that many pics of my dad. Worse, I think we have one picture of my mother's parents.

Anyway, all the best to you and your family. Remember, as the Dutch say, "Gedeelde smart is halve smart, gedeelde vreugde is dubbele vreugde."

I agree your father was very handsome. I'm sorry for your loss. That is a GREAT photo.

Dutch - sorry to hear about your Dad - BTW, your Grandad was a heck of a photographer - black and white portraits are tough to light so well. Can't even imagine having family photo's back to the 1890's - that's way cool.

I know this thread was hijacked but it's for a good reason. Sorry to hear about your dad bloke. My prayers are with you.

You're right Dutch, it wasn't intentional. Believe me I am over our doggy disagreement too - so much so that I acquired the antithesis to a Pit Bull, a Black Labrador retired Seeing Eye Dog, now that's a family dog you can trust

Please accept my condolences about your father, I lost mine many years ago when I was only 14.

    Best Regards
