So I am single, and once again enjoying another coffee and playing with my treo. Woo Hoo.
I think I am going to go comfort shopping.

Nope, won't be moving to a different state - can't Stuck in Tennessee for school. Blah.
HE was the one bringing up marriage? In that case, it's a good thing he's gone, since he obviously has some issues going on. Guys don't initiate wedding talk.

I think what happened was he finally decided to come out of the closet.

Did you ever catch him trying on your shoes?

    Just something to think about.

Liv, sorry to read about the dump. Wanna know the best revenge? Be happy! Do something that the two of you had always talked about (well, maybe not the marriage thing...), and go do it. Bring a friend (with benefits or not) with you and realize that you do deserve to have only the best in your life.

As for toughening the marriage/divorce process, we were sort of talking about this at lunch, except it extended to children. We've decided that prior to being allowed to breed, all people should be forced to work for a large department store, in the toy section, during Christmas. For those of use who have been there and done that, it explains why some of us chose the knife over the life...

This reminds me of one of my favorite jokes...

What do a Texas Divorce and a Tennessee tornado have in common?

    Someone's losing a mabile home.

Liv, keep your chin up his loss is your gain because an amazing man will be brought into your life.

As to being stuck in TN. I have been here for nearly a year now after a transfer for business reasons and love the Nash-vegas area. Spring on the Natchez Trace with my classic Mustang convertible...ahhhhhh

hate copy / pasting the whole thing from palmaddicts but this may not last long....start hainging out at phone stores

    http://palmaddict.typepad.com/palmad...palm_love.html

Wow. OK. So interesting day. I should say week. I was conversing with a guy (around my age, maybe early 30's) on the subway this morning on my way to work. The obvious reason being that he was playing around with his treo 650. (While the stereotype that NY'ers are surly and unfriendly isn't true at all, we don't usually make a go of talking to strangers prior to 8 AM due to the surly nature of ANYBODY at that hour!).
So we got to talking about it and I had told him that I write for PalmAddict and to my surprise (well, maybe NOT surprisingly) he has visited the site bfore! Thought that was kinda neat (to use an 80's term). But the really interesting part is that he met his new girlfriend with his Treo! She asked him about it in the Sprint store apparently, and they wound up going for coffee after she bought one to have him help her figure out how to use it. One thing led to another and whaddya know, 2 years later they are still rockin and rollin!

That brings me to my issue. Why am I still single!
I have a Palm. How come that doesnt happen to me?!

OK so I know I'm using some literary thing here but it made me start to think about things. I found out this morning my ex has moved on (see pics in Jan's profile on me). Not that that's not OK, it is. We are still best friends (which everyone thinks is the strangest thing they've ever heard). Then I find out that one of my best friends over the past 10 yrs (since HS) who I havent much spoken with in the past year had a baby.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR, FOLKS!
I'm serious...Hoepfully someday soon it'll be my turn (wink)...
We all just have to find that someone I guess. Romance - friendship - and a little heartache. They say anxiety keeps us safe. Heartache keeps us coming back for more.

So I'm putting out a big 'ole PalmAddict call to the ladies...

OK. I'll admit it. So I've been listening to Heart on my iPod/Treo lately on my work journeys. That doesn't help Greatest Hits 1985-1995. Please don't ask me why...I dunno.

Wow again. How a little electronic gadget can change your life.
Enough for now. Just some PalmAddict food for thought...

From the immortal words of Ann Wilson:
"Til now, I've always got by on my own. I never really cared until I met you.."

I'm on the opposite end of the country, and ain't moving. So, unless she's migrating West, she'll have to settle for marginally amazing at best.

I can see it now. This thread will coin a whole new genre of pet names.

"Look at him over there. He's...so...munky! I so hope he throws some of that poo my way!"

    New pick up line:
"So, ahh...got a little munk in ya?" "Want one?" (Slap)

"That girl's got some munk in her trunk...but not for long DUCK!" (Splat-wipes face)
