Wow. Ignorance is rampant on both sides.

Those who claimed the lack of governmental response to Katrina had racial undertones are just as prejudiced as the boogeymen they see around every corner. Anyone who doesn't think Al Sharpton is a racist is either in total denial or just not paying attention.

On the other hand, those who don't see a major governmental failure in the Katrina response are turning a blind eye. Call it bureaucratic incompetence, laissez-faire domestic policy, or whatever you like, but it's the sociopolitical equivalent of turning up the volume on the TV remote because your kids keep crying.

And although it was a good effort, Bob-C's post isn't quite worthy of The Onion. Don't get me wrong; political correctness is inherently evil, but like Dennis Miller or Carlos Mencia, The Onion are equal-opportunity offenders.

What about the suffering of the people of New Orleans due to Katrina and the failed responses by Local, State, and Federal officials do you find "funny"?

Show me where I said that? Learn to read please.

What I find funny is ignorant @$$holes blaming everything on race. And even more ignorant @assholes twisting people's words to try and make their point seem valid. (I wonder who here does that? ).

Not always. I've surprised a few people on here once in a while.

The statement I rolled eyes to was blatantly racist.
