The highlights are that $10 extra line on the family plans is going away, and some of the family plan tiers are going away.
Extra lines will now be $15 on all family plans (no more $20 or $10 depending on the tier.)

Media Basic and Media Works are getting an increase in KB per month (from 500K to 1MB for basic, from 3MB to 5MB for Works.)
Media Net unlimited is being reduced in price.
Overage on Media Net limited and per KB rates are being reduced.
Some Media Net (limited) pacakges are being removed.

I'm speculating, but I believe this means Media Net unlimited package is going from $25/month to $20/month.

Existing plans won't be touched from what the Cingular people say.
This has always been the case. Carriers change rate plan offerings every 3 months or so and you always have the option to sign up for the new ones and renew your contract. But existing plans have never been touched unless they do something like force you to switch from TDMA to GSM which requires you to sign up for a new plan or something.

Unlimited MEdiaNet is going down in price from $25/month to $20/month.
And pay per use went back down to 1cent per KB (Still outrageous)

Otherwise there are no other exciting developments in data plan pricing.
