I have a generic T600 I have activated with Cingular.

Does Cingular have any Palm formatted web or wap sites for access to my account or to media works content (like TMobile TZones)?

    Same problem...

Unfortunately I think that the link somehow checks some firmware in my Cingular branded T600 and then redirects to the proper web site. Maybe you can search the main Cingular web site for info, or call and speak with a CSR. Sorry.

    Try this link instead: http://www.infospace.com/sbccom.pac/

No branding check. I have a Cingular phone & I got the same error message. Looks just like a dead/bad link.
    Good Luck!

    We had the link wrong.

    It should be:

    http://www.infospace.com/device.cnglr/

The / at the end is needed.

Thank you to Burrzoo for the hint in the link he posted.

The link is dead right now, I will call my CIngular insider today to see what is up.

Yes, the infospace links all seem to be down. No joy for the past few days.

I have a partial anwer to this question, hopefully there will be a good resolution to our problem. My cingular person is checking on this, I will hav more info later and will post it.

It seems that Cingular has changed the Data packages, just as T-mobile did and Sprint is planning. If you are now on MEdia Works it only supports WML pages (Wireless Markup Language) from what the web pages says. That is why Cingulars own page WW is not visable to us. This is not from Cingular, this is from what Cingular said, and my searching. They said the WW page is a known issue and that you should be able to access other URLs. Some I can some I can't.

Cingular customers please post your experiences with non-mobile pages so I can refer to those working or not working. Tell me what data plan you are on, and when you changed it. As I just changed mine three days ago.

I am hoping this is a mistake. The head tech guy is calling me by monday.

I am hoping what I heard was not true and that was that the web package is available for $39.95 not including MMS and not including SMS. I want access to all pages.

Ok, well I have proven myself wrong, maybe it is just a infospace issue. I can access several non-info space websites. Whew! I am hoping that everything except the infospace MEdia window. It is weird cuz I can access it directly on my PC.

i just got off the phone with cingular, their data support team is aware of the issue, it seems to be a problem with t600's only. they hope to have it solved by 11/12 at the latest. they will call me back.

all the links bring up either an "unknown file type" or a "You are not authorized to view this page" message. it is not the cingular home page that i have had for years.

OK, here is what I have figured out. It is an Infospace/Blazer on the Treo 600 problem. I have no problem going anywhere else. I can also go to http://www.infospace.com/device.cngl/ with no problem if I use Palm Web Pro v3.0.

OK, if this is true, why did this just begin a week ago. We all ahve the same version of Blazer and the same URL. What did infospace change???
