I am thinking of thinking to Cingular from Verizon and one thing that worries me is people seem to allude to the signal strength not being as good in buildings. Is GSM affected more by buildings than CDMA?

    Thanks,
    Robert

I don't think it is a question of GSM vs CDMA. It is a question of frequency. 850Mhz penetrates buildings better than 1900 Mhz. GSM can use either frequency depending on the location and the carrier.
