Called T-Mo inquiring about my slow data transfer rates (8kbit/sec) based upon testing it with the following:

    http://text.dslreports.com/mspeed

and was told that the national average is 20kbit/sec. I asked about the stated 56k and was told that I could possibly reach that speed at 2:00 am with no one else using they system. But on average, I should expect 20k. This made me disappointed. I have friends that use Sprint and get 95-100kbit/sec. So does this mean that Sprint is 5 times faster than T-Mo?

The T-Mo rep said that when they roll out Edge next month I should get speeds on average of 56k and may (at 2:00 am) hit 100k. Sprint will be releasing EDVO soon with claims of 300-500k.

Canít wait for the new Treo 650 on SprintÖ..I hope itís EDVO compatible.

First I've heard of this. Will it be nationwide or piece by piece?
