I have an AT&T phone (Siemens S46) with an international-roaming-equipped SIM: For my planned European - England and France - trip, should I be able to move the SIM to a borrowed T600, assuming that it is unlocked? I was going to try to get a loaner quad-band Treo...as my personal one is a CDMA Sprint version...and migrate the SIM chip prior to the trip.

'Any snags come to mind? Thanx!

Should work - I checked out my husband's AT&T sim in my unlocked Treo before I changed carriers to AT&T. With the exchange rates, you are right to use your US sim and not bother with a local prepaid for international calls, unless you were going to make a lot of local calls. Data will be expensive, though.
    Treo 750 and iPhone.
