    Hello!

I have a Cingular T600 and for some reason the voicemail symbol is always present. I check my voicemail to make sure I didn't miss a call and it says, "you have no messages". Not critical, but slightly annoying.

I have upgraded to Firmware 3.05, software 1.12-CNG.

Anyone have this problem? Any solutions? Thanks for your help!

Is that the blinking asterisk on the upper left corner? If yes, click it with your stylus and check the check box or hit the clear all button and then done.

    ginmtb,

I had that problem once with my Cingular phone. First, try turning the phone all the way off then on. If that doesn't work, (and it didn't for me) call Cingular and have them "reset" their side of the voicemail system. You have to set it up again but since that time it's been working fine for three months.
