As you all know by now, Cingular's $20/month ulimited data plan (+1500SMS,+200MMS) does not appear to be avaliable from the Cingular.com web site. Many have had no problem adding Media Works to their Treo 600 plan, other have been told "no" it's not avialable on a PDA. It depends who you talk to.

    But!!
I was screwing around on Yahoo Mobile today and found you can buy a Cingular Handspring Treo 600 for $300 with rebate and activation on Cingular. One of the Optional Features for options to add to the plan is $19.99 Media Works!

It appears unlimited media works is available through this store for now. So if you've been wanting to get a Treo GSM and considered Cingular, here's a way to do it.
This URL may not work, but I'll try posting it anyway:
    http://www.inphonic.com/specialoffer...1&phoneid=4044

    Here's how to get there....
    Go to:
    http://mobile.yahoo.com/resource_center/resource_center
Click on "PDAs and Accessories" under "Buyers Guide", that leads to:
    http://shopping.yahoo.com/b_pdas_201...nav,slk:block1
Click on #1 at the top, "Handspring Treo PDA from $299" that goes to:
    http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Handspri...NlYwNjb21wYXJl
Select from "Yahoo! Shopping Mobile" ($299)
    Enter your zip code
You'll see a Cingular Wireless offer, notice the "Optional Features" in the lower right corner
    Optional Features
    MEdia Basic $7.99
    Text Messaging - 100 Messages $2.99
    Wireless Internet Express - 5 MB $14.99
    MEdia Works $19.99

This all leads you to buying through this Wirefly service.
Here's another (more direct) way to get to the same offer:
    http://www.inphonic.com/wlnphome.asp
Select "Shop by phone" and enter you zip code.
Check "Handspring" and then "See Results"
One option should be "Handspring 600 Treo" on "Cingular". Select it.
You should get the same offer as mentioned above.

Just don't tell them you have a treo 600.

When I added it, I told them I was using a SE t616 even though I am using a p900.

    Hey,
U R right! This has to be the best deal out there! I have been looking for some time now. They even give a 30day trial! No need to port until you are sure of service reliability.

We all need a little dirt (life's events) to grow!
