    i have cingular, and have a little question. why does it take so much longer to find a gprs signal than it does to find a phone signal, also i can not seem to have the gprs session end without having to turn wireless mode off, i am a newbie...help polease!

    Don't know about the time difference, although my GPRS is never 'off'.

    Don't worry about turning the GPRS off. Even though you still see the little green arrows, which make you think it's still transfering data, it's not. If it's tranferring data, you'll see the bytes accumulate at the bottom. If not used for a while, it'll kind of deactivate itself.

    To manually disconnect the GPRS session, go into Preferences, Select Network. Make sure you select Cingular Express service, and you should see a Disconnect button at the bottom.
