In comparison between CDMA and GSM networks, I know that CDMA 1xRTT has a higher theoretical speed but in real-life they seemed to be similar. I also know that with Treo 300, there was an upgrade available to go from GSM to GPRS.

HOWEVER, I do have a question on whether the Treo 600 will allow for a software upgrade to EDGE network when it's available. Can you imagine having DSL speed with Treo 600?? It will be awesome!!

EDGE would be great, but I've read that the 600's hardware does not support it.
