    Contact a T-Mobile authorized retailer or call 1-800-TMOBILE. A salesperson will be able to walk you through the process. No need to cancel service with your existing carrier.

    What will I need to do to bring my phone number to T-Mobile?
    Keep your existing number and account current and up to date. Beginning November 24, 2003, go to a T-Mobile authorized retailer and tell them you want to bring your number to T-Mobile.

    Is there anything I can do to make the process easier?
    Yes. We recommend that you make sure your account remains active and you bring in a copy of your current bill to an authorized T-Mobile retailer when you are ready to switch.

    How long will the process take?
    T-Mobile has developed a customer friendly sign-up process that will take no longer than the normal new account set up. In most cases your phone number will be switched in less than 24 hours.

    Are there fees for transferring my number to T-Mobile?
    T-Mobile is not charging for transferring your number however, your previous carrier may charge an early termination fee for canceling your contract.
