    Bmeter stands for Bandwidth Meter. It allows you to measure effective download speed of your network connection. It could be used to measure how fast your GPRS connection actually is.

    Gave it a try, looks my my basic wireless connection averages about 300 bytes/sec (2400 bits), while the GPRS averages about 2500 bytes/sec (20,000 bits) if I have this right. I gave it a couple of tries and got consistent results from my home. Had only about 2 bars connection strength during these tests.

    App worked fine and was very straightforward. Thanks.
