Has anyone tried to connect a Win XP laptop to the Internet using a USB cable to treat their Treo as a wireless modem?

Until someone writes Windows USB drivers, you're not going to be able to use your Treo as a Wireless modem over USB. You can use serial or Infrared (or a USB to serial adapter and then serial) with WirelessModem <http://www.notifymail.com/palm/wmodem/>

2 developers have expressed interest in writing Windows USB drivers for use with WirelessModem, but so far I haven't seen anything and can't give an estimate on when they'll have the drivers developed. I think that it will be at least 4 months before we see anything, but I hope I'm wrong. It took me several months to write the USB drivers for Mac OS X.

    Thanks for your rapid response!

Any ideas how to get it working with a Win XP laptop using IR?

Microsoft seem to have removed any support for IR modems in XP!
