I'm currenlty using GPRS on Rogers AT&T network in Canada, but I always get connected at 9600 bps.

What speed are you getting with your service provider ?

For those who don't know how to see the speed, disconnect from the network, then reconnect and press the "scroll down" button while it is reconnecting: you should see something like: "dialing *99***1#, connected 9600 (or whatever speed you get)

    Thanks for the info !

I'm not sure if that trick applies to GPRS. There is a good chance that it is just displaying 9600 becuase it doesn't know the real speed.

It shows 9600 on all networks..not just Rogers. This does not reflect the real speed.
