I know that right now you can use a standard dial-up account with the Treo via GSM to access the Internet wirelessly, which allows your connect time to come out of your standard voice minutes (without a specific data plan in addition to a voice plan). And I expect that will still be possible once the GPRS update is available. But there's one thing I don't know - and forgive what may seem like an obvious question:

When the GPRS update arrives for the Treo, will I have to sign up for an additional "data plan" from Cingular or Voicestream if I want to use it for the higher-speed, always-on connection rather than the GSM + dialup option?
