I have a Treo 650 thru Verizon. If I enable dial up networking or use PdaNet to connect my laptop the the web, will it use airtime minutes or data? If minutes are used, it could add up very quickly.

    Thanks

It depends. If you use your own ISP and configure it properly, then only minutes. If you are using verizons Q2N or NationalAccess, then you will be charged according to your plan. If you are unlimited data - then no worries. If you have pay as you go, then you'll be charged per meg. If you have MOU you'll be charged minutes - though there are conflicting reports as to whether VZW will really honor MOU.
