    Tonight, while going onto the Vision Home Page (or any web page for that matter), I started getting a pop up window saying "Web Site Login"

    It then says

    Realm: *

    Site: 68.28.31.33

    User Name:

    _______________________________

    Password:

    _______________________________


    I tried putting in my Vision user name and password, but it will not go any further...keeps looping back to the Login window. If I hit cancel, it asks if I want to download http://vision.sprintpcs.com to either my APPLICATION or MEMORY CARD (I am using a Treo 650). I even tried to download it and it says "Download Failed".

    Anyone else experience this?

    Is this a Vision problem or a Treo 650 problem? (or a personal problem?)

    I am in Orange County, CA if that matters?????

    Is this a Sprint IP address?

    Is anyone sick of all my questions yet?

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Weird. My son just came in an hour ago and said he couldn't access SMS or internet on his Vision plan. He has a message saying it has been turned off and requires a payment to turn it back on. Sprint shows he's current and they have no idea why he has that block. They wrote up a trouble ticket and said it could take 24 hours. Don't know if that helps you, but you're not the only one unable to use Vision tonight
    My PDA history: ditched pre and upgraded back to the Treo 755p, Palm PRE, Treo 755p, 650, 600, TMobile Pocket PC, Visor Platinum, Kyocera Palmphone, Treo 300, Visor Silver, Ipaq H3600, Orig Handspring, and various and sundry other early iterations of PDA's.

    I have a problem with Sprint Vision as have not been able to access my accounts for about a month.

    I can access other sites fine but when I try to access the Vision Home page it comes up fine but then when I select "My Account" or other selections the screen just resets back to the Vision Home page. I can sometime access the next screen but then when tryiing to go any further I again get sent back to the vision screen.

    Sprint finally (after a few weeks of playing phone tag) advised it was some kind of bug and to hard reset my phone which I have not done yet.

    I have same problem with the "Realm" etc too! I am on the line with Sprint now to clear this up...

    Okay, so it's not just me?

    I went to the Sprint store today and they gave me a new 650. I am still having the same problem.

    This was after spending an hour with Tech Support yesterday. They had me reset my phone, restore it back to factory defaults, hard reset my phone, and then finally, re-do the latest firmware update....all to no avail.

    Treoneo: Did they fix the problem for you? As mentioned before, my NEW 650 still does the same thing................ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

    i used to have a vision problem in blazer with my 600. try deleting the Web Cookies from the home screen - not from within blazer, and try to relog in. please update us if this works. in the past the issue seemed to be "corrupted cookies" and if you search the discussion board you may see some old threads about it

    That is the first thing I tried...still didnt fix it.

    My vision has been going in and out all day, plus my wifes phone got that SMS as well but she is current.

    NO Sprint did not fix it. It has been nightmare entirely. Have been on phone with Sprint on & off for 3 hours today. The first gut screwed up everything! He seemed to think that taking Vision off of my account & then readding would fix this but it did not. But here's the best part; when he put it back on he said I now have to pay $15 a month instead of the $10 I had been paying for last three years! He said he could gove me $60 credit for one year to offset the difference. That was not the point! Plus only for one year. Then after MUCH arguing & yelling he then somehow magically got it back to the $10 rate. But then I found out that it does NOT include unlimited messaging - again something that I have had since 03 in my Vision plan. So again he kept figthing me saying that they never had unlimited messaging & he even talked to 3 supervisors who aledgedly confirmed this. He was the one who took off the dang Vision so it was HIS fault that the plan changed & NOW he has the nerve to say he cannot give me what I originally had. And when I get upset he says they do not offer that plan any more?!! He finally then just got tired I think & said "well IF you had unlimited messaging, then you should have it again since I changed the plan back". This guy screwed up my whole bill & then it literally took two hours of me begging & hollaring for him to put it back the way it was. I finally got fed up & hung up on him. These guys are complete jokes I must say. I then called back to make sure he did fix what he broke & someone verified that it it as it was. But that's not all. Whatever he did did not fix the original problem with Blazer so I called again to a tier 2 support. He had me do the dame reset to factory defaults, change Primay & secondary HA, update vision profile, etc - ALL to NO avail. Then I find out that this same jerk who earlier screwed up everything did something else to screw it up too; He ERASED my sprint email account & reassigned a new one!!! He never even told me about this. He had created a new acccount & login which again did NOTHING to help. Thank god I have those emails forwarded to another account so I did not lose them when he erased the account. So the new tech was very helpful & knowledgeable & got my old email address back. But as of now no one could fix the blazer problem. The last guy just opened a trouble ticket - no Blazer workey...

    This is slightly off subject, but I am in fits with Sprint right now to get me back to the $15 Vision rate that had me at the unlimited text messaging with my 600. I had to exchange my 600 for a refurb, and when they switched phones they messed up my Vision (they said the "premium" was taken off), and then told me that I've never had unlimited text messaging.

    Any advice on how to get the unlimited back?

    try posting this over at pcsintel.com in the sprint forum. someone there will offer advice or better yet, the code to readd to your acct for unlimited internet and sms. everyone who had vision prior to dec 2003 had unlimited sms, and provided they never cancelled nor changed their vision, should still have it. unfortunately for the future, they are not supporting it with their new "power" vision plans with evdo. but - post over at pcsintel.com and hopefully someone will help. i understand everyone's frustration with the matter. sorry the corrupted cookies did not work, it could also be sprint implementing their new "portal" which is not working with the treo. not sdure, though.

    btw, those of you who are having problems with vision going in and out, could you post where you are (city, state, location wise)? sprint is soft launching their evdo services and there could be some on/off temporarily in select areas. but i'd like to see the correlation of the locations. btw read the front page at pcsintel.com (about 3 blog posts from the top) to see where evdo is launching

    Just got a call back from Sprint surprisingly. They said this is a know issue in "my area" & they are working on it. We'll see. As far as getting back your old Vision plan, you have to get ahold of retention department & b i t c h like there's no tomorrow. They have no right to take this off & then not put it back!

    Sorry you had so much trouble treneo.

    What they are saying MAY be true because I am also in California...Orange County to be exact.

    With that being said, my buddy who also is in Orange County is not having this problem.

    How about this angle? Do you have a business (personal liable) account?

    I just spoke with Tech Support again and this time they created a Trouble Ticket and told me they would have a resolution within 51 hours....B.F.D.!!!

    I have yet to have a trouble ticket solve my problem. Well, its wait and see time.
