I think I've got the worst. I pay around $108 (total) per month for 900 peak minutes (9-7) and unlimited data. Free nights & weekends and unlimited incalling.

With Sprint- 300 mins fair & flexible, w/ nights at 7 for $35, and then $10 for unlimited internet. So, generally $45, and then I get a 20% discount from my employer, so it's usually just under $40 after tax and such- I'm happy as a clam.

I used to pay $15 for the standard internet, but when I called to ask about the $5 internet often mentioned on these boards- they said they got rid of that and made it $10 if you wanted to pay per sms (.10 each) and pay per kb for picture mail. For $5 per month off, I think it just might be worth the savings in my situation, considering I don't text much and I don't really use picture mail. When I finally do end up having to pay more than $5 in charges for sms and pic mail, I'll go right back on that $15 plan.

It's actually 50 dollars a month in some affiliate markets, works on any Sprint phone, and it is openly advertised. The catch is there is a local area and the calls must be to that local area. You can pay 5 bucks for your minutes to be long distance in the US which is worth it. Out of area minutes are not too bad for .10. If you don't travel often or you are replacing a landline this is the way to go.

    $100.00- 2000 anytime minutes (shared with 1 Treo 650 and 1 Treo 600)
$0.00- Unlimited nights and weekends (starts at 9PM)
    $0.00- PCS Add-A-Phone
    $5.00- Unlimited PCS-to-PCS
$10.00- Unlimited Vision for both lines
$0.00- Unlimited text messages for both lines
$10.00- Equipment protection for both lines

Total before my wife's employee discount: $125
Total after disount and taxes: $113

I just checked and see my contract expired in June 2004. This is with Sprint, by the way. I won't sign a new contract because some of the options we get for free now will cost us money like the PCS Add-A-Phone. I believe it's $5.00 per month now. Vision went up to $15 and now there is an additional fee for the second line ($5.00, I think). Unlimited text messages are $5.00 a month now, and my plan would be $115.00. That's a total of $20 in additional charges. Not worth it!

I get a Widener University discount of 15 % from the plan only ($129 plus ~$20 for 2 extra lines). so a total plus insurance is ~$180 for 1500 unlimited data (where before I had the Pre I paid $120 for 4 lines). I am the only one who uses data in my household so I pay $60/m to enjoy the Pre

Can somebody tell me which employers/credit unions/organizations give 25% discount- it might pay to join them.

I called Sprint and told them a half a dozen of names none of which where more than 15% discount (including Pentagon Federal Credit Unions (none) VA 15%)
    ABA- 5%
    BJ's Club- none

I forgot to ask about AAA and BMW Car Club of America

    any others ?!
