Hi, I'm trying to send an sms message to a phone with a french phone number and it won't go through.

I type in exactly like this (*'s represent numbers) into my sms application.
    +33*********

Does anyone know why it's not going through or what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it?

Or is Sprint just a dork?

You have to add 011 to make the overseas call, and you must do the same for SMS.
I have sent SMS to Sweden successfully with this.

When you do this, are you charged for an international call or is this included in the data charge or both?

So it should look like this?

01133- and then the rest of my number?

    wait
    i was just wondering

The guy lives outside of paris and paris' city code is "1"

Do you think I need to put a "1" in here so it looks liek this: 011-33-1 -*********
