vzw is releasing new bundled voice/data on americas choice 2...
to be used with blackberry/smartphones... i mean is nothing new to us.. but they will be pushing this starting on 6/27/05.

right now if you were to get a voice plan + unl data the data part will be charge at 44.99 ($5 bucks off the stand alone price of $49.99)

    example...
    ac2 450min 39.99 + 44.99 = 84.98
    ac2 1350min 79.99 +44.99 = 124.98
    ac2 3000min 149.99 +44.99 = 194.98

now starting on 6/27/05 vzw offers new choices for those blackberry/smartphone users.. saving you additional money!!!

    includes unlimited in network/night&weekends
    ac2 450min with unl data $79.99 (saving 4.99)
    ac2 1350min with unl data $109.99 (saving 14.99)
    ac2 3000min with unl data $169.99 (saving 24.99)
So now it's not quite 3x as expensive as Sprint's unlimited data plan (only $25/month more than Sprint, not $30)

and they're probably locking you into a contract for the bundled package, right? Right now, data's considered an option that can be dropped/downgraded at any point without incurring early termination fees.

Everytime I've signed a contract with VZW they've said I could switch plans at any time. Depending on how extensive the switch, they may start the contract term over again, but I've never paid an early termination fee or have had them refuse to make the change. I've gone from National Access, to AC, to various forms of AC with family, both with and without a data package.

Of course, if you ask two different VZW reps, I'm sure you will get three different answers.
