My update went fine. Bluetooth DUN works great and no longer crashes the 650 in that strange dance of tap, tap, slide off the back, reset, tap tap, reset...
    Nice work PalmOne.

I too have the unnamed connection now (instead of PCSVision) but that's a minor niggle.

I messed up. Didn't have the power cord in while I was synching. Something went wrong. Went through a couple of resets but in the end I plugged in the power cord. Re-synced and it all ended up working fine. I gained 1MB.

    Indeed, it is much louder!

    That's pretty cool.

I also noted, that music sounds richer, but I primarily do use my earphones for music.

OK. Two odd things now. I had thought the Keyshades hack was doing something. Now I deleted it and it seems if I start TCMP to watch a film, the keyboard turns off and never turns back on. Any ideas how to fix that? (Remember, I deleted Keyshades hack and this is still happening, and yes I soft reset after I deleted the Keyshades hack).
Well, it isn't perfect and it makes me crazy, but I still do love my Treo!

When I am posting from work, I'm sorry I dont have the time to read the entire thread to its very end as you would like me to, then post my "absolute zero quality" post after I have "gathered my thoughts". I post as I go along!

You just mentioned that you post as you go... that's exactly what some of us also do, which is why we maybe don't see an answer posted later in the thread. Please consider this when you "quote and rip" into someone for doing the same. You also might want to consider posting from home when you may have more time.

TreoGuy, I have keyshades too (I love it) and I have the same thing happen... I don't mind since it's so easy to turn the kb lights on and off, but wanted you to know you're not crazy. lol..

I also have my keys come on but not the screen *quite often* since the update, so I have to bring up the brightness lever and then the screen comes on.. Anyone else?

    Bekktek:
I updated with the newest version of TCMP and reinstalled keyshades hack. Now keyshades hack seems to be working again. When I watch a film in TCMP and go to full screen it darkens the keyboard lights and when I pause or go back to another program the keyboard lights come on again (unless I use the side key to activate keyshades and darken them). So...looks fixed for now. Now if I could only figure out why my battery seems to be draining soooooo much more quickly with the new update even though I have turned off IR and Bluetooth discovery.

WOW! Are we still talking about me. I'm not that important in any of your lives; can you find another subject to talk about....like this update.
If any of you have something else to say in which I am the subject, stick it in a PM and maybe I'll read it....this is starting to get a bit tired!

You people are having a hissie hit over something that was done ONE time; multiple post in a row.....hell, that was just one of those days. Normally I may have 2 post in a row...and guess what, most times, just ONE!

And I'll continue to post when I feel like posting, not when ANY of you feel that you can calculate when I have more time......wait, let me insert a fake smilie here..........

Anything else on this matter I will view it as harrassment!

I think I've figured out why some people are seeing the new phone options (blinking LED, etc.) and some aren't. I'm willing to bet that those who do NOT see the new options have a phone overlay file (Phone_SPCS) installed in RAM. This file overrides the phone logo file in ROM, which has the new options.

Hopefully Shadowmite will figure out how to turn on the the call duration feature in the new Sprint phone logo file.

I had an overlay file with my last ROM and imagine that it got synced over after I installed my new custom 1.12 ROM. I have all of new phone options and also have the call duration feature.

That may not be the reason. I had the Shadowmite tribute overlay, and after the update I lost it. I have all the phone options (ie blinking led) but didn't have call duration (which was part of the overlay). I reinstalled the overlay, and now I have the new phone options and the overlay options.

This may be true for some, but I installed the one with Homestar Runner and it has the LED blink option still, via Phone app, under General Options.I know it took, becasue I have call deatils with times and the splash screen has changed.

While on a call, if you press the green phone button, it goes into Flash mode. Does anyone know what Flash mode is?
  16.    #536
Flash switches you over to the other caller

    HELP

Unless I've gone mad...after installing a custom 1.12 I have lost the ability to set font size in blazer!

There use to be a "font" option under "menu" from blazer, right?
