    verizon treo users:

how do you guys deal with sending outgoing mail wirelessly from your treo?

Since neither my work server nor Comcast (my ISP) will allow me to relay e-mail (Comcast seems to work sporadically), I use smtp.vzwmail. net for outgoing mail. The username is your cell number@vzwmail.net.

yeah i've come across this searching past forum posts. does this mean you can only send email from that random vzwmail.net email address? or can you cross-authenticate? the reason this is important to me is because i want my business email to be coming from my business account, not from some phone#@vzwmail.net account...

No. You can specify your from address as whatever you like.

That's right. I specify my return office e-mail as my return address. When someone hits "reply" to one of my e-mails, that is the address it goes to.

I run my own email servers, so sending isn't an issue
