I'm currently a Verizon customer "trying out" a Sprint Treo 650, which I really like. And I'm pleasantly surprised by coverage here in the Denver area. I think I'd like to switch, but have a few months left on my Verizon contract. Does Sprint use incentives to try and retain customers who want to discontinue during the 14-day worry-free guarantee? i.e. Can I expect an offer to cover my cancellation fee, give me a free feature (like Free & Clear America) or lower monthly rates?

I've never heard of anyone getting anything from retention without having been with Sprint at least a year.

It's worth asking for. If you're willing to commit the na rep may be willing to throw in extras.
