    Anybody else get a text message about a BC upgrade hapenning this week that will provide wireless calendar synch capability? I tried to go to the url referenced in the sms, but it was a dead link - or perhaps overloaded.

    I don't see any added features....like calendar sync. I only see some interface changes.

    I got the messages and went to the page, it said they would sent another message when the upgrade was available...

    I got the SMS, but prior to reading it had to cold reset my Treo (Sprint Vision problem over the weekend). Does anyone have the text and url from the message??

    I just upgraded BC directly from the Treo Client...under Settings - Check for Update

    Hmm, Must be a regional test. I have version 6.0.8.61 on my Treo600, and when I select Check for Upgrades, I'm told I have the latest version.

    oh well.

    The SMS message I received today indicated that I would get another SMS message later this week indicating when the update was available. This link was also in the message: http://www.sprint.com/business/pages...Connection.jsp

    the interface is different, but you can also wirelessly sync your calander instead of just when you hotsync

    I got the SMS too but when I went to settings and check for upgrades I got the same message.

    Guess we have to wait.

    This just in....

    "Dear Valued Customer:

    We have learned that under certain circumstances the potential exists for some of the contents of another user’s Inbox to be displayed through the Business Connection Enterprise Edition (“BCEE”) device client for Palm and PocketPC devices. Because the security of our customer’s data is a top priority, we have taken the entire BCEE platform offline while investigating the root cause of this potential occurrence.

    Our first course of action is to maintain the integrity of the data synchronized to the handset. To this end, we will be shortly sending a command over the Sprint PCS network to each of the mobile devices with the BCEE client installed that will completely and automatically remove all mail and BCEE registration information from the device.


    In addition, users will be notified if they are still required to upgrade (at no charge) to a new version of the BCEE Palm or PocketPC client before they will be able to continue synchronizing their mail and calendar information. Notification of the upgraded client will be sent to the device, and users will be able to simply click “Upgrade” to install the new version. Users will be required to re-register their BCEE client during this process.

    Well that doesn't sound good. I have personal edition not Enterprise. I wonder if the personal upgrade is effected as well?

    According to my calendar today is the last day of July yet the wireless calendar upgrade page still remains the same.
