    Hi Jay.
    Please call another Sprint Tech Support person before you make that drive. I can't believe there isn't a better way to fix your woes.

    I've found the store techs to be much less informed than the phone techs, even.

    At worst, at least call the store and see if they agree with you making the drive, or can they help you over the phone perhaps.
    Of course, that's if you can get them to answer the phone!!
